Founding editor and co owner of Kings Hospitality LLC. Owns the 28 axis data pipeline, the scoring methodology, and the tax and visa data behind every number on the atlas.

№ 01 , Background

Who is behind the number.

Fredrik Filipsson is a founding editor of everycity.guide and a co owner of Kings Hospitality LLC. He owns the data side of the masthead: the 28 axis pipeline that scores 5,000 cities, the validation tier across the city profile fields, and the quarterly index recalibration.

His remit is accountability for every number the atlas publishes. The structural rule that no figure ships without a primary source and a date stamp is his to enforce. Where a claim cannot be traced to Numbeo, Mercer, OECD, World Bank, EIU, WHO, Speedtest, or a national tax authority, it does not ship.

Areas of responsibility.

The 28 axis pipeline

Owns the ingestion and scoring across cost of living, safety, salary, climate, healthcare, internet, walkability, visa access, tax burden, and the other 19 axes.

Methodology

Maintains the scoring weights and the binary tests documented on the methodology page, and the quarterly recalibration of the index.

Tax and visa data

Owns the tax burden and visa access fields, sourced to national tax authorities and immigration rules, dated at ingestion.

Validation

Runs the validation tier that flags outliers and stale figures across the 5,000 city profiles before they reach the editor.

№ 03 , Accountability
